In China there was once a man who liked pictures of dragons, and his clothing and furnishings were all designed accordingly.
His deep affection for dragons was brought to the attention of the dragon god, and one day a real dragon appeared before his window.
It is said that he died of fright.

A dragon stepped up on the foot of my bed, then walked on the bed, cracking every piece of wood in the frame while I hung on tight to the side of the bed to not roll into the critter... From the marks on the foot of the bed, it has a four foot natural spread between feet...
A week later it woke me from a nightmare, gently crudely stroking my face with the backs of its inch wide claws...
Now dragons gently cuddle their faces to mine...
:) Dragons are huge and winged, can produce an extremely hot flame, and seem to defy normal physics in both their flying and their flaming. If they are flesh and blood, each dragon weighs many tons, as decided upon by consensus.
Are you sure of your dragons? They could have been dragonlets or lizards dreaming of being komodos...
Legends also tell that dragons were once of the same race as humans, speakers of the Truespeech, but in the end them choosing the sky while humans chose land. Did you talk to them, stranger?
